Designing the next generation responsible and life centric Cabin Experience
At the heart of aviation lies a profound truth: for many travelers, the journey is as important as the destination. This realization oers airlines and seat vendors an unparalleled opportunity to innovate and redefine the cabin products and services.
“For many travelers the journey experience is as important as the destination itself. Airline brands have a unique opportunity create and curate the next generation cabin journey experiences around individual customer needs. Smart service and an intuitive space will deliver a memorable, meaningful and enriched journey experience”
Hugo Nightingale, Global Creative Director
Life-centric design prioritizes the holistic well-being and experiences of individuals, considering the broader ecosystem in which people live, work, and play. In aviation, this means understanding passengers not just as seat occupants, but as unique individuals with diverse preferences, needs, and lifestyles. Embracing social trends, new generation values, and aspirations is essential in shaping the future of air travel.
Today's travelers seek experiences that align with their values, preferences, ideas and purpose, blending sustainability, inclusivity and social responsibility. By integrating these trends into our designs and services, we create meaningful experiences that foster connection, empathy, and shared purpose among passengers. This approach ensures that every aspect of the travel experience enhances overall quality of life, making air travel more meaningful and aligned with the values of today's travelers.
Personalized Experiences
Connected Journey: Imagine a seamless transition from home to airport to aircra. Personalized notifications, preferences, and services create a cohesive experience.
Tailored Cabin Environment: Each passenger’s needs are unique. Adjustable climate control, personalized entertainment, and ergonomic seating contribute to overall satisfaction.
Engaging the Senses
Material Tactility: Responsible materials that such as natural fibers, upcycled materials create a tactile connection with passengers.
Embedded Technology: Discreetly integrate technology - whether it’s touchscreens, wireless charging, or smart controls. Technology should enhance and not overwhelm.
Intuitive Lighting: Imagine sliding lamps that adjust to passengers’ needs - whether it’s reading, relaxing, or enjoying a meal. Intuitive lighting enhances comfort and sets the mood.
Heaven Concept
This theme challenges traditional perceptions of space. Cozy and private yet part of a more open, more sociable cabin that enhances the sense of security and relaxation. This is what we call the heaven concept.
Creating Social Spaces
Adjacent seats that can convert into a double suite when desired. Each seat has retractable privacy panels that create a nest-like environment when raised. SMART panels can merge to create a larger, shared space - perfect for couples, families, or even new acquaintances who wish to converse during the flight.
Each seat remains ergonomically designed for uncompromised comfort with personalized presets set that tailor adjustments to the user ensuring a pleasant journey. The double suite includes shared amenities - a small table for dining, a touchscreen for entertainment, and storage compartments accessible from both sides.
The Conviviality is about creating spaces that adapt to passengers’ needs, fostering connections while respecting individual boundaries.
Innovative Features
The next generation of cabin design is about more than aesthetics - it’s about creating a harmonious space that respects both passengers and the planet. As we envision the future, let’s prioritize well-being responsible solutions and innovative design. Bon voyage
